Samsung is one of the world's largest manufacturers of memory chips, so it's no surprise that the company has a big role in the microSD card world. But at retail in the U.S., Samsung's elegant little orange cards have generally been eclipsed by Kingston and SanDisk products. Samsung's 64GB EVO UHS-I microSD card ($64.99) is attractive, but it won't change the basic equation. While it costs a bit less than higher-speed cards, you can see the difference in performance in both mobile devices and PCs. While I wouldn't throw one out if I found it in my device, I preferSanDisk's Mobile Extreme lineup.
